The Sapaf Research, Design and Development department works on developing, designing and producing Private Label collections for clients who have a registered trademark and a good distribution network and want to enhance their collections with high quality, completely Made in Italy leather goods. This department offers a highly skilled staff supported by high-tech instruments, able to respond to any specific request.

Today, the company has about 30 specialized employees, covering the entire production cycle.
In addition, thanks to the provision of advanced technologies, a high quality standard is ensured as well as a perfect time to market.

EXCLUSIVE SERVICES

RESEARCH

Starting from the client’s idea, we look for the best materials and the best techniques to create the requested collection.
We then submit to the customer a feasibility study in order to let the client decide how to proceed.

DESIGN

Once the feasibility study is approved, the pattern-making department begins its work, first by designing the items with a CAD-CAM system,
and then making the paper patterns and prototypes. The felt prototypes are then carefully studied until they reach the sizes,
shape and features the client desires.

DEVELOPMENT

Starting from the final felt prototypes, the prototype department begins making the items with the selected materials and fittings.
The entire prototype production phase is characterized by constant feedback and communication with the client to be sure
that the finished item is exactly what the client desires. The prototype department also makes the first sample collection
the client will use during fairs and other exhibitions.

PRODUCTION

“Last but not least” starts the real manufacturing. Sapaf offers a facility that turns out approximately up to one thousand handbags per month.
Once manufacturing is completed, an appropriate in-house quality control and logistics service is provided.
